      • Choose your tape colour

        To add style to your Wood Venetian go for tape to cover the cords of your blind. Choose from a selection of warming colours:

      • Choose which side to control the tilt of the blind from

        For some blinds this is chosen for you due to size restrictions.

        The below illustration shows where the control would sit if you choose left side controls:

        If you choose split controls, the control side will be on the Right and the tilt control will be on the Left.

        Measuring up for blinds is easy and we’ve thousands of delighted customers to prove it! Please make sure you follow our instructions – we’ve videos to watch and pdfs to read – for perfect results.

         

        For additional peace of mind, consider taking out our mismeasurement protection. For just a 10% charge we promise to replace your blind if you have made a mistake with your measuring.

Please note that our Innovations range is Fauxwood and made from PVC.

How big are the brackets?

  • For 25/35mm slat widths the height is 4.5cm, Width is 2.5cm and Depth is 5cm.
  • For 50mm slat widths the Height is 4.5cm, Width is 2.5cm and Depth is 6.5cm.
  • For 63mm slat widths the Heigh is 5cm, the Width is 2.7cm and the Depth is 7.7cm

 

Your headrail, valance, acorns and cords

The Wooden Venetian headrail is made from mild steel, the valance, acorns and cords are all co-ordinated to the slat colour you choose. As wood is a natural product there may be some variations in the grain. For this reason we recommend that you order any Wooden Venetians for the same room at the same time. Wood should not be used in steamy rooms as it may warp over time due to the moisture in the air.

Blind was damaged on arrival but service was prompt, apologetic and fast to send a replacement. Samples of wood came and made it easy to choose what I wanted.

none really apart from the cover for the top unit was too long by a fraction, the blind was to go into a recess so would not fit but as I have a handy husband this was not a problem for me, would have been if handy husband wasnt around.

Look very nice in our windows.
From a quick glance you can tell that they are made to fit our unusual shaped windows.

They appear to be slightly different lengths (we have three side by side in a bay window) which means they all sit slightly differently at the bottom.
The valences provided were too long and needed to be cut down to measure.
