5 design lessons we can learn from stylish Web-Blinds customers

Our customers are pretty awesome, and they sure know what they’re doing when it comes to interior design.  Here are 5 design lessons to take away from 5 of our customer case studies. Get ready to swoon.

1. Keep things de-saturated and elegant for a boutique hotel feel

We’ve all flopped onto a hotel bed and wished our own boudoirs looked similar. Hayley showed that replicating the same look at home is all about keeping things simple and subtle. Barely-there pinks and neutral shades are the order of the day, and the cherry on top is the gorgeous Audley Ivory Roman blind.

2. Monochrome never goes out of style

Black + white = chic every time. Sue got the memo. That’s why her spare bedroom feels like it belongs in a pristine Parisian apartment. And can we just draw your attention to those fabulous Wooden blinds. Guess who.

3. Take monochrome one step further with a pop of colour

Sue’s stylish jumper might be the pop of colour in her spare bedroom, but for a more permanent flourish make like Emma and try a striking blind. Our Mexican Chilli Roller does the job just perfectly here.

4. Subway tiles don’t have to match

Eleven-year-old Dylan made pretty amazing design choices (okay, so maybe Dylan’s Mum had a little say). Subway tiles are a popular choice for kitchens and bathrooms alike, but this room keeps things really fresh with mismatched colours. And it couldn’t be more perfect for a growing boy’s en suite – along with a stylishly practical Fauxwood blind too.

5. Blinds are more versatile than you think

Privacy, light control and style statement are just three things we often use blinds for. But what about a projector for a cinema room? We bet you wish you thought of that. Lucy did, and made her sunroom into so much more than somewhere to catch the rays with a plain white blackout Roller blind. We’re stealing that one!
