A trip to Morocco spurred on Charlotte to declutter and transform her bedroom into a calming sanctuary. And as Charlotte found out, here at Web-Blinds, we’ve got a blind for that…
With house prices on the rise, lots of young people are living at home for longer. Charlotte is no exception, and she needed a tranquil environment where she could chill out at the end of a long working day.
“After a recent trip to Morocco, I framed a set of photographs in a beautiful minimalist frame,” explains Charlotte. “The problem was, it didn’t match anything else in the room! Everything else was much busier.
“Being a small room, the shelves that were up on the wall created an almost claustrophobic feel and made the room appear smaller than it actually is.”
Once Charlotte had finished painting, she decided to bring a little colour into her room with accessories. A selection of cushions brightened up the bed; a colourful orchid the bedside table.
But there was something missing at the window. And that’s where Web-Blinds came in.
“I’d heard of Web-Blinds before, so decided to take a look at the selection. With such a neutral room, I had pick of the bunch and decided on a soft Roman blind, with a Moroccan-style print inspired by my travels.
“Web-Blinds was so easy to use and the measuring and fitting instructions really helped me make sure I got it right. I chose a blackout lining for my Roman blind, which makes it the perfect choice for my bedroom. I could not have been happier with the results!” enthuses Charlotte.
