Lucie had two different window woes in her home. And Perfect Fit blinds from Web-Blinds solved both of them. Take a look at just how stunning the effects are.
Lucie’s master bedroom includes a beautiful 1930s bay window which, although a gorgeous period feature, caused a bit of a problem when it came to privacy. Its position at the front of the house left Lucie feeling like she lived in a goldfish bowl!
The bay also has very little space at the top of the window, leaving no room for traditional free-hanging blinds. So Lucie struggled with what to put at the window. That was until she discovered Perfect Fit.
“Perfect Fit blinds were the perfect choice,” says Lucie. “We’d inherited net curtains on a tension pole from the previous owners, and they just didn’t fit in with our plans for a contemporary bedroom.”
Lucie also recently did a spot of upcycling, painting her neutral chest of drawers a striking pink.
“My husband, Si, thought they were a bit bright at first, but we both agree they’ve added a real feature to the room!”
And the stylish new drawers shaped her blind choice too. Lucie chose the subtlest shade of pink she could find as a nod to her upcycling project. And the result is quite something.
“It’s given us an expensive shutter effect,” says Lucie. “They look great inside and out. And they are practical too with n ofreehanging cords that makes them safe for our two small children. I love them!”
After the success of her bedroom blinds, when it came to dressing the patio doors in the kitchen-diner, Lucie came straight back to Web-Blinds.
Glare could be a problem when Lucie and family sat at the kitchen table, so Perfect Fit blinds seemed the obvious choice for the patio doors. But this time, she opted Pleated blinds. The bright blue fabric she chose really picks up on the bright kitchen chairs.
“I’m just as delighted with my kitchen blinds as my bedroom ones. They’ve transformed both rooms,” says Lucie.
