Megan and Oli are Web-Blinds regulars. As they updated their home room-by-room they knew where to come for their window dressings. Now they’ve moved home and are expecting a baby. Take a look at their guest bedroom and nursery for their eagerly awaited new arrival.
“Before we even moved into our new home,” says Megan, “I’d already started on the Pinterest boards.
“We waited until we knew the gender of our baby to paint the nursery. When we knew it was going to be a little boy, we chose a calming colour scheme in blue and grey.
“I found the plush elephant while pinning and knew I had to have it. Then it was time to get the furniture and soft furnishings together.
“As usual, I was so impressed with the choice on Web-Blinds. We shopped around and no other companies came close. We decided on a pretty star design for the nursery – with a blackout lining of course!”
Megan and Oli also set to their guest bedroom. When they first decided they were buying the house, Megan had designs on it as a dressing room.
But when she found out they were expecting they decided a spare bedroom would be more practical – somewhere Oli could go to get a good night’s sleep with work the next day or where family could stay when they needed a helping hand.
“We started with the wallpaper – it’s a Farrow and Ball dupe we sourced on the internet. I love grey, but it needed a bit of colour so we decided to go for a bright teal Roman blind. It’s great for adding personality to the room.”
Once again Megan and Oli have created two spaces to be proud of. Just in time for their family of two becoming three.
