Victoria and her partner live in a new build home built in 2016. It’s their first home together, and they’re beginning to put their own stamp on things. Web-Blinds was the go-to for part of that journey.
“Our style is quite neutral,” says Victoria. “We love warm, rich tones that work well together in all areas of our home. With our window dressings, we were looking to achieve a modern and stylish look while still allowing for our personalities to show through in each room.”
For neutral lovers, texture is a great way to add interest to a room and to keep the eye interest. And Victoria definitely got that memo when it came to choosing her homely Roman blinds.
“We decided to fit the Roman blind in the kitchen outside of the recess, and weren’t quite sure how much overhang to leave. We decided on 5cm each side which looks just right, and lovely and neat!
“We fitted the bedroom blind inside the recess. Both blinds were easy and straightforward to fit – it was just a case of positioning the brackets carefully.”
Victoria chose a blackout Roman blind for her bedroom and layered with curtains for an extra snuggly and blackout effect. The two together create a sumptuous look and make the whole room feel extra inviting.
“As the house is a new build, our home felt like a blank canvas. Roman blinds have really made our house feel more of a home and have allowed us to begin putting our own stamp on the house. Thank you Web-Blinds!”
